In pumping systems since 1992
Foundation in Fafe
Founded by three brothers who grew up on the factory floor — hydraulic pump manufacturing was already in the family before 1992. Valdemar, Jorge, and Orlando Marinho Oliveira started JOVAL to tackle the real challenges of water abstraction in the agricultural sector.
Product line expansion
Evolution from specialized workshop to manufacturer with its own product line — submersible pumps, control panels, hydropneumatic sets, and technical accessories.
European market expansion
Exports grew to Spain, Scandinavia and Eastern Europe. ISO 9001 certification now frames our design, manufacturing and marketing processes.
New generation in the factory
Management has moved to a new generation of the founding family, keeping the factory in Fafe and the focus on practical engineering, technical proximity and support for field work.
European presence
JOVAL exports to more than 12 European countries, with customers in Spain, Scandinavia and Eastern Europe. We keep manufacturing in Fafe and respond to projects outside Portugal when the technical context fits.
Our priority is a direct relationship with distributors, installers and project designers, from equipment selection to after-sales support.
